  • When I run various programs, or click on certain links on your website, nothing seems to happen. Is there anything I can do?

    Many reports which are produced by our website are displayed in a new window so that you can run multiple reports without having to enter your report criteria more than once. Unfortunately, many popup blocking software applications stop these legitimate results from displaying. If you choose to do so, you may allow popup windows from our website to display by configuring your popup blocker. Each popup blocker is different and there are many available, so we will provide instructions for only Microsoft Security Center, Yahoo Toolbar, and Google Toolbar.

    -Microsoft Security Center (installed with Windows XP SP2, and enabled by default):
    When a popup is blocked, you will see a notification in the Information Bar (under the Address text box), which is new to Internet Explorer. When you click the Information Bar, you will have access to the popup blocker settings that let you view the popup or configure other options.



    Choose 'Always Allow Pop-ups from This Site...', and confirm that you want to allow popups from our site.



    -Yahoo Toolbar (includes a popup blocker):

  • When I open PDF files on your website, they either display partially or not at all. Or, when I open PDF files on your website, I receive the error 'File does not begin with %PDF'. Is there anything I can do?

    There is a known bug between Adobe Acrobat Reader plug-in and Microsoft Internet Explorer that will cause certain PDF files to display partially, or even not at all, when the PDF file is opened directly inside the browser. The only way to work around this until Adobe and Microsoft fix it is to perform the following steps:

    To disable Web Browser Integration in Acrobat Reader 6.x:
  • Open Acrobat Reader.
  • Choose Edit -> Preferences.
  • Click Internet in the list in the Preferences dialog box.
  • Deselect Display PDF in Browser.
  • Click OK.
  • To disable Web Browser Integration in Acrobat 5.x (Full version):
  • Open Acrobat.
  • Choose Edit -> Preferences -> General.
  • Click Options in the list in the Preferences dialog box.
  • Deselect Display PDF in Browser.
  • Click OK.
  • To disable Web Browser Integration in Acrobat Reader 5.x:
  • Open Acrobat Reader.
  • Choose Edit -> Preferences.
  • Click Options in the list in the Preferences dialog box.
  • Deselect Display PDF in Browser.
  • Click OK.
  • To disable Web Browser Integration in Acrobat Reader 4.x:
  • Open Acrobat Reader.
  • Choose File -> Preferences -> General.
  • Deselect Web Browser Integration in the General Preferences dialog box.
  • Click OK.

  • When I print from your website, the right side of the page cuts off. Is there anything I can do?

    Various documents on our website have a 'Printable Version' button which you can click to get a version of the document which will fit within left and right margins as large as 0.75". For best results, use this 'Printable Version' button if it is available.

    If a 'Printable Version' is not available for a specific document, then please set your left and right margins to 0.25" before printing. Go to File -> Page Setup... from your browser's menu to make this adjustment.
